Meta is expanding access to its Meta AI assistant globally, linguistically, and artistically. The AI can now communicate in seven new languages and is available in seven additional countries. Users in 22 countries can interact with Meta AI on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook. The assistant is also compatible with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Meta Quest headsets for immersive experiences.
A new AI tool called "Imagine Me" allows users to generate digital avatars from uploaded photos. These avatars can be placed in various settings using text prompts. Users can refine images by submitting follow-up prompts to adjust specific elements. This feature enhances creativity and allows for personalized digital experiences that can be shared with friends and family.
Meta's imagine me feature expansion
Meta has extended its testing of the Imagine Me feature from WhatsApp to all of its platforms. Users can now create and share AI-generated art across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. Although Meta's most advanced AI model, Llama 405B, is currently limited to WhatsApp and meta.ai, the Imagine Me and related AI image editing tools are the standout upgrades. Unlike competitors like OpenAI and Google, Meta offers unique capabilities for creating and sharing personalized AI-generated images, potentially attracting users from other platforms.
