Apple embraces biden administration’s AI safety guidelines

Apple has joined a group of companies committing to the Biden administration’s voluntary AI safeguards. These guidelines urge companies to test AI for bias and security issues and to make their findings public, ensuring transparency and reliability.

While there are no legal penalties for non-compliance, companies that do not follow these guidelines might be excluded from government procurement. Tech giants like Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI have already pledged to adhere to these standards.
